The seventh workshop of the "Forum Against Cancer Europe" (FACE) took place on the 15th of March 2011, 9.00-12.00, in the European Parliament premises in Brussels (room JAN 6Q1). On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, ECPC decided to honour all great women involved into fight against cancer with a separate workshop dedicated to them. Women are not only victims of cancer, with breast cancer accounting for the highest percentage of female cancers. They are also politicians and decision-makers standing against the disease, nurses and doctors working in the hospitals, and active cancer advocates fighting for better treatment and care for all cancer patients. ECPC is proud of women who collaborate with us, and that is why we want to celebrate their special day together.
